Michael is an incredible therapist and human being. He is kind, compassionate, and authentic. He gave concise and effective advice that got to the root of several issues that I was having in my life. I had been battling depression, anger, anxiety, and many other negative core beliefs over the past ten years.

Very grateful for the help and advice Michael gave me. Really helped me to have a more positive perspective on my life and my future. He was there for me when I really needed some to not only give me advice but just someone to listen. Always responded to my text. Helped me really get through a tough time.

Michael is warm, compassionate, and honest. He has helped me tremendously as a fellow mental health professional in a relatively short period of time. I appreciate his knowledge and expertise, as well as his skill with modeling/strategizing how to set up healthy boundaries. Overall, Michael is a high-quality therapist!

After therapy with Michael for 3 weeks on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, grief, intimacy-related issues, sleeping disorders, anger management, compassion fatigue, and adhd
A kind man that appears to be goal driven. By constantly asking me what I want the therapy to help me with specifically it requires me to shape my goals and aspirations. He then follows up with concise advice and is willing to listen to the wails of a frustrated and angry man.
That my friends is a Texas sized portion of help.

In the short time I spent with Michael he was very personable, I felt he asked good questions that allowed him to know me and what I am going through. I especially like that he is willing to include biblical experience and knowledge be a part of his counseling.

I just want to say thank you to my counselor for being respectful and empathetic, professional but also compassionate and most of all, offering spiritual Christian guidance to me at a time like this. There aren’t many Christian counselors out there who openly identify as such and do not compromise in their advice giving.
Simply put, if you’re looking for a counselor that can pray with you/ for you/ refer you to the Bible and encourage you in the things of The Lord, go with Michael Edwards!

Michael is both calming and authoritative. He knows what he’s talking about, while still allowing me to do the talking I need to do. Would highly recommend him. In fact he’s one of the reasons that I continue to recommend BetterHelp to others.
