Michael is an incredible therapist and human being. He is kind, compassionate, and authentic. He gave concise and effective advice that got to the root of several issues that I was having in my life. I had been battling depression, anger, anxiety, and many other negative core beliefs over the past ten years.

With Michael’s help, I was able set healthy boundaries, learned how to plan and implement effective goals, and learned how to improve my communication skills. He helped me rebuild confidence and self-worth. My life is now very stable and I feel prepared and capable of confronting any future challenges. The tools and advice that he shared with me are invaluable, and I will continue using and implementing them into my everyday life. Thank you, Michael, for your help and advice. I will be forever grateful. The experience of therapy and counseling will always be a happy memory for me.

I’ve been having sessions with Michael for over 5 months now and he has been very helpful, especially offering helpful worksheets for me to try and put to good use. I’ve found this experience helpful and glad I had considered trying it.

Anxiety disorders differ from normal feelings of nervousness or anxiousness, and involve excessive fear or anxiety. As defined by the American Psychiatric Association – Bipolar disorder is a brain disorder that causes changes in a person’s mood, energy, and ability to function. People with bipolar disorder experience intense emotional states that typically occur during distinct periods of days to weeks, called mood episodes. These mood episodes are categorized as manic/hypomanic (abnormally happy or irritable mood) or depressive (sad mood). People with bipolar disorder generally have periods of neutral mood as well. When treated, people with bipolar disorder can lead full and productive lives.

As defined by the Mayo clinic – Grief is the natural reaction to loss. Grief is both a universal and a personal experience. Individual experiences of grief vary and are influenced by the nature of the loss. Some examples of loss include the death of a loved one, the ending of an important relationship, job loss, loss through theft, or the loss of independence through disability.
